ABOUT QUINN

Hey there, I'm Quinn! I am an East Coast transplant currently based in Seattle, the traditional and unceded land of the Duwamish and Coast Salish people. You can pay rent to them here: Real Rent Duwamish.

As a stage manager and theatre artist, I enjoy original work and art that pushes people to examine and confront their social norms. When not working behind the scenes, I enjoy reading, sewing, photography, dog walking, and hiking.

My goal is to create theatre that is socially engaging and awakening. I want to help give platforms to people to have their voices heard for the first time and by people who haven’t heard them before. To cultivate safe and equitable spaces where collaborators can feel accepted and valued for their contributions and who they are, where they are given the tools they need to succeed and paid above a living wage with healthcare access.

Stage managing is a passion of mine because I love the opportunities it brings to unite people and create beautiful work. In a work environment, I value open and effective communication and a space where one can have fun and feel productive. This profession is incredibly fulfilling because I never stop learning and growing, and I enjoy every chance to collaborate with peers and learn new tips for our craft. I believe the skills stage managers use are transferable and can truly improve one's quality of life.

Education:

BFA expected in Fall 2021 from Cornish College of the Arts
